February 6, 2002 - Governor Robert Taft visits the Entrepreneur Center, an outpost on Ohio's "Third Frontier". The Governor used ActiveManager to publish the first official web page on DaytonMetro.com during his visit to Peerless Technologies.
During his visit, the Governor discussed with Michael Bridges, President of Peerless, the high-tech business sector in general with a focus on developing Information Technology solutions and services that will set Ohio apart as world-class. The Peerless Team demonstrated a web development capability that allowed the Governor to publish to the world-wide-web, in near-real time, imagery (and content) information as represented by a digital photo of him entering TEC just moments earlier. |
